Tibetan Terrier
Companion and Toy Dogs
Small3–10 kg12–16 yrsBeginner Friendly
The Tibetan Terrier was bred first and foremost as a companion, bringing joy and warmth to households for centuries. Laid-back and easygoing by nature; they are patient and friendly with children; though they are a very vocal breed that may not suit noise-sensitive environments; and they do not cope well when left alone for long periods. The Tibetan Terrier is content with moderate daily exercise and short walks, and a weekly brush keeps their coat looking its best. The Tibetan Terrier is a solid choice for dedicated first-time owners who can provide consistency, patience, and plenty of company.
