The Romagna Water Dog is a curly-coated water worker originally tasked with retrieving waterfowl. Energetic and highly responsive to training; they are wonderful with children and get along happily with other animals; and they do not cope well when left alone for long periods. The Romagna Water Dog needs a solid hour of exercise every day to stay mentally and physically balanced, and their coat is low-maintenance and needs only an occasional brush. Active first-time owners who can commit to daily exercise will find Romagna Water Dog a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.
