The Parson Russell Terrier is the classic terrier type - courageous underground hunters of the British Isles. Active and moderately trainable; they can be challenging around other dogs or animals and need careful introduction; though they are a very vocal breed that may not suit noise-sensitive environments. The Parson Russell Terrier demands at least 1.5 to 2 hours of vigorous exercise daily, and their coat is low-maintenance and needs only an occasional brush. Only very active, experienced owners who can truly match their drive should consider Parson Russell Terrier.
