French Spaniel
Pointing Dogs
Large25–45 kg10–13 yrs
The French Spaniel is a versatile continental gundog built to hunt, point, and retrieve. Intensely driven and quick to learn; they are patient and friendly with children; and they do not cope well when left alone for long periods. The French Spaniel demands at least 1.5 to 2 hours of vigorous exercise daily, and regular brushing several times a week and occasional professional grooming keeps their coat in top condition. Only very active, experienced owners who can truly match their drive should consider French Spaniel.
