The Collie Smooth is a herding dog bred for generations to manage sheep and livestock. Energetic and highly responsive to training; they are wonderful with children and get along happily with other animals; and they do not cope well when left alone for long periods. The Collie Smooth needs a solid hour of exercise every day to stay mentally and physically balanced, and a weekly brush keeps their coat looking its best.
