Collie Rough
Sheepdogs and Cattledogs (except Swiss Cattledogs)

The Collie Rough is a herding dog bred for generations to manage sheep and livestock. Energetic and highly responsive to training; they are wonderful with children and get along happily with other animals; and they do not cope well when left alone for long periods. The Collie Rough needs a solid hour of exercise every day to stay mentally and physically balanced, and regular brushing several times a week and occasional professional grooming keeps their coat in top condition. Active first-time owners who can commit to daily exercise will find Collie Rough a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.
