Basenji
Spitz and Primitive Types
Medium10–25 kg11–15 yrs
The Basenji is one of the world's oldest primitive breeds, largely unchanged for thousands of years. High-energy and independently minded. The Basenji needs a solid hour of exercise every day to stay mentally and physically balanced, and their coat is low-maintenance and needs only an occasional brush. The Basenji is best suited to experienced, active owners who can provide firm, patient guidance and consistent mental stimulation.
